This seminar was attended by 22 representatives of local authorities from 11 cities in Bulgaria, Estonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania and Serbia. Technical presentations were provided a.o. by representatives of the Principality of Monaco, the Union of the Baltic’s Transport Commission (Gdansk, Poland), VEOLIA Environnement/ZKM Connex (Tczew, Poland) as well as by the Gesellschaft für Technische Zusammenarbeit (Germany).
The training was funded by the Principality of Monaco and co-organized by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), the City Hall of Płock, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), VEOLIA Environnement and was supported by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the City of Berlin and the European Foundation for Sustainable Development of the Regions (FEDRE).
Due to the great demand for the limited workshop places and the participant’s positive feedback, this seminar will be repeated in CIFAL Plock in early 2007.
