Curitiba, Brazil, 5-7 December, 2005. CIFAL Curitiba will host a training session on “Ecovillages: New approaches to Urban Regeneration” intended to local authorities and urban planners from Latin America and the Caribbean.
The CIFAL training session will present an integrated model for sustainability, as a resource to inspire the imagination of urban planners and mayors, encouraging environmentally responsible design and development of Latin American cities.
This event is organized in partnership with the City Hall of Curitiba, the Open University of the Environment (Unilivre), Veolia Environnement and Global Ecovillage Network (GEN) in the framework of the pilot phase of CIFAL Findhorn (Scotland) intended to become a Training Center for Local Authorities and Local Actors for the Design of Sustainable Cities and Towns.
